My wife Joanne’s mum died earlier this year after suffering years of dementia. Today, Thursday 14th June 2018 the Alzheimer’s Society have their National Cupcake day so I thought I would post a few pictures from a shoot last year with Emma Appelton-Smith. Jo had this great idea about making a corset out of paper cupcake cases and after a couple of weeks of painstaking sewing we had our main piece. A relatively simple skirt made from paper strips together with more painstaking work for a wig made from plaited paper completed the main outfit. A few white accessories and white makeup supplied by Emma and we were ready to shoot in the studio dressed with white furniture and white background. I think we got some great photos.

Before Christmas I had the great pleasure of working with Zoe Davison. Zoe is a young international Modern Pentathlete representing Great Britain in various age groups with huge potential and huge ambition. Not only does she look great in front of the camera but Zoe is very enthusiastic about trying unusual concepts. Combine this with the superb props and locations that Modern Pentathlon can provide and I’m really looking forward to many great images in the future.
Had a great photo shoot with Jaime and Betsy. I wanted to get some dynamic dance photos and they worked so hard to help me get what I wanted.
It’s always great to be a published photographer but even better to have a cover image. This photo of AmyLam was used on the front cover of the February 2017 edition of Enchanted Models Magazine based in the US. If you ever get a chance to work with Amy she is really great and I would also like to thank Louise Crouch for her great make up skills and use of her lovely home for the shoot.
These are a couple more from the same shoot.
This was my first shoot with Daisy and Blackberry. I was also using my studio lights in a different way for the first time. Very pleased with how it went and I learnt a few things as well. Thanks Daisy.
This Logan, the latest edition to the yard at Lassetter Dressage. He’s all legs and a real cutie at 4 days old. I’m hoping to go back there again so I have given Logan his own dedicated gallery where I will add more photos in the future.
